De Saint-Lazare à Orford mon studio prend un nouveau départ / From Saint-Lazare to Orford, my studio is embarking on a new chapter
English below
A studio is never just a room, an address, or a few well-lit walls. It is a place where ideas take shape, projects find their footing, and encounters leave their mark.
Today, I’m happy to share an important change: my studio is moving from Saint-Lazare to Orford by January 2027.
This move marks the end of a meaningful chapter and the beginning of a new rhythm. There will be boxes to unpack, familiar spaces to rebuild, tools to put back in place, and routines to reinvent. But above all, there will be a renewed sense of possibility, inspired by the nature, tranquility, and space that Orford has to offer.
Because this studio has always welcomed people from different places and backgrounds, this announcement is offered in both French and English (see full post in English below).

On place d’abord l’essentiel. Puis on ajuste.

English version
A heartfelt thank you to Saint-Lazare for these last 10 wonderful years!
Saint-Lazare was never just an address. It became the place where the studio grew, where ideas became real, and where many meaningful projects began.
Over the years, people came through the door with stories, questions, plans, hopes and creative energy. Some came once. Others returned again and again. Each visit became part of the studio’s memory.
I feel deeply grateful for this chapter.
There is something special about a space that has been used with care. You learn the light at different times of day. You know where things belong. You recognize the rhythm of the place. Slowly, it becomes more than a room. It becomes part of the work itself.
Leaving Saint-Lazare does not erase that history. It carries it forward. Everything learned there, every meeting, every project, every small moment of trust will travel with the studio to Orford.
Why Orford feels right
Orford came into the picture gently. It did not feel like a sharp break. It felt like the next right step.
The studio needed a setting with more quiet, more space and a closer connection to nature. Orford offers that. The mountains, the trees, the changing light and the slower pace all create a different kind of atmosphere and of course skiing!
This new environment will shape the studio in a beautiful way.
In Orford, I hope to create a space that feels calm from the moment you arrive. A space that supports focus, conversation and creative work. A space that remains warm and simple, while allowing room for something new.
This move is not about chasing novelty. It comes from a real need to bring the studio’s environment closer to the way I want to create, welcome and work.
A move like this also asks for trust. There are practical details, of course. Boxes, planning, schedules, decisions. But there is also the emotional part of leaving what is known and building something new with patience.
One step at a time. One box at a time.
What will change
The most visible change is the location. The studio is moving from Saint-Lazare to Orford, closer to the natural rhythm of the Eastern Townships.
For future appointments, sessions or projects, practical details will be shared directly during planning or booking. The goal is to make the transition clear, smooth and easy to follow.
Some projects may also be prepared a little differently. When it makes sense, parts of the planning can happen at a distance before meeting in person. Conversations, choices, questions and preparation will continue with the same care as before.
The move may also open the door to new kinds of projects. Orford offers space for work that feels more grounded, calm and connected to nature. A different place always brings a different energy, and I am excited to see how that energy will shape the studio.
There will be a period of adjustment. That is part of the process. A new studio reveals itself slowly. First, the essentials are placed. Then the space is refined. The light is observed. The flow becomes clearer. Little by little, the room begins to feel alive.
What will stay the same
Even with a new address, the heart of the studio remains the same.
The studio will continue to be a place of care, listening and creation. A place where projects are given time. A place where presence matters. A place where the experience is as important as the final result.
The attention to detail will stay. The thoughtful preparation will stay. The desire to create a human, welcoming and professional experience will stay.
The connection with everyone who has supported the studio will also stay. Whether you visited once or many times, you are part of this story. This new beginning exists because of the people who helped the studio grow.
The studio in Orford will not be a completely different studio. It will be the same spirit, held by a new landscape.
That distinction matters. This is not about starting over from nothing. It is about continuing with more space, more calm and a setting that feels aligned with the next chapter.
A careful transition
During the move, some things may take a little more time. Replies, follow-ups and availability may shift as the studio settles into its new home. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this period.
A studio cannot be moved only with boxes. Its atmosphere must be carried too. Its way of welcoming people. Its rhythm. Its care.
Some things come along. Some things are left behind. The new space begins to speak, and slowly, the studio learns how to belong there.
In Saint-Lazare, the studio found its footing. In Orford, it gets to take a deep breath.
See you soon in Orford
I look forward to welcoming you into the new space when it is ready. I look forward to discovering the light, the mood, the projects and the conversations that will take place there.
Thank you, Saint-Lazare, for the years, the memories and the people.
And hello, Orford. This new beginning already feels full of promise.
