Le silence avant l'élan.

Depuis quelques jours, je cherche les mots qui décrivent vraiment ce que je peins.

Ils sont maintenant affichés dans mon atelier :

Silence. Respiration. Courage. Élan. Suspension.

Chaque nouvelle toile de cette série devra trouver sa place parmi eux.

Je ne peins pas le ski.

J'explore ces instants où, malgré la peur, nous choisissons d'avancer.

Il existe un moment où le tableau commence à vous répondre.

Hier, c'était ce moment-là.

Pendant longtemps, je pensais que je peignais le mouvement.

En travaillant sur ma démarche artistique, j'ai compris que ce qui me fascine n'est pas le ski, mais le courage.

Le ski est simplement le langage que j'ai choisi pour parler de cette expérience humaine.

The Silence Before the Momentum

For the past few days, I've been searching for the words that truly describe what I paint.

They are now displayed in my studio:

Silence. Breath. Courage. Momentum. Suspension.

Every new painting in this series will have to find its place among them.

I don't paint skiing.

I explore those moments when, despite fear, we choose to move forward.

There comes a moment when the painting begins to answer you.

Yesterday was one of those moments.

For a long time, I thought I was painting movement.

As I worked on defining my artistic practice, I realized that what truly fascinates me isn't skiing—it's courage.

Skiing is simply the language I've chosen to express this human experience.
